AM-3 is a 3 inch 8 cm midrange driver from DD Audio with an aluminum die-cast basket in an open design, which acts as a short-circuit ring. A voltage-optimized dual neodymium motor works with a 25.4 mm CCA voice coil on a Kapton former. The aluminum cone is complemented by an acoustically dampening butyl dust cap and a butyl surround. The back is laser-engraved, the machined aluminum grille uses a geodesic HB pattern, and the grille is included. Compatible with the optional passive 2-way crossover CX02. RMS power 50 W, peak power 125 W, impedance S4. Frequency response 100 – 22k Hz.
